Title : The future of modern agriculture: IoT, AI and block chain technology for sustainable farming and agribusiness
Abstract:
The need for new e-Government services in the European Union has been clear since the late 20th century. The EU aims to foster reliable and advanced e-Government systems that work on local, national, and international levels. Member states are encouraged to update and modernize existing e-Government systems to improve electronic communication and cooperation, particularly through initiatives like the STORK 2. 0 project. These e-Government systems enhance interactions between governments, citizens, and businesses, using technologies such as the Internet of Things, Cloud Computing, and Big Data. In agriculture, such technologies can help combat climate change, reduce chemical usage, and improve soil health. This research focuses on advancements in agricultural automation, including sensors, drones, and artificial intelligence, while also addressing challenges and future possibilities in smart agriculture. The paper will provide an overview of innovative technologies available to farmers and agribusinesses, emphasizing their transformative potential and benefits for productivity, efficiency, and sustainability. It aims to inform stakeholders and encourage the adoption of these innovations for growth in the agricultural sector.
