Biography:
Dr. Uzoamaka N. Akwiwu is a Senior Lecturer in the department of Agricultural Extension and Development Studies at the University of Port Harcourt. She holds a BSc in Agricultural Economics, Extension and Rural Development and an MSc and PhD in Agricultural Extension and Rural Development. Her research spans rural sociology, food systems, rural household nutrition, and climate smart agriculture. She advocates food safety, vibrant agriculture, and healthy diets. She is published in reputable journals and promotes food diversity. She supports community development, and runs a healthy-eating club. She is a member of the Nigerian Forum for Agricultural Advisory Services (NIFAAS)
