Biography:
Stephen works with the University of Florida and City of Jacksonville as the Small Farms and Alternative Enterprises extension agent in Duval County, Florida, USA. Born and raised in South Florida, Stephen attended University of Central Florida and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. Following graduation Stephen worked for the USDA’s Agricultural Research Service in Canal Point, Florida. Stephen worked on developing sustainable agricultural practices on organic soils. He continued his work at the University of Florida for graduate studies, obtaining a Master of Science degree in Agronomy, and a Doctorate in Soil and Water Sciences.
