Stefania Toscano

Biography:

Stefania Toscano obtained her PhD in Crop Productivity from the University of Catania in 2012. Since January 2023, she has been Associate Professor of Horticulture and Floriculture at the University of Messina. In 2022, she was a Visiting Researcher at CEBAS-CSIC, collaborating with the research group of Dr. Sánchez-Blanco M.J. Her research focuses on physiological, morphological, and biochemical responses of horticultural and ornamental plants to abiotic stress, functional quality, biodiversity conservation, and product innovation. She is Topic Board Member and Guest Editor for several international journals and author or co-author of more than 100 scientific contributions.
