Biography:
Agricultural Engineering from the Universidade Federal de Lavras (2000), a master's degree in Food Science from the Universidade Federal de Lavras (2003) and a PhD in Agricultural Engineering from the Universidade Federal de Viçosa (2006). He is currently a professor at the Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia Goiano - Campus Rio Verde. He was coordinator of the Postgraduate Program in Agricultural Sciences - Agronomy (2012 and 2013). He has been the General Coordinator of Postgraduate Studies at IF Goiano - Campus Rio Verde since 2014 to the present. He has experience in Agricultural Engineering and in research projects funded by development agencies and in partnership with private companies. He works in the area of Pre-Processing of Agricultural Products, mainly in the following topics: physical and hygroscopic properties, drying and storage of grains; as well as processing and quality of food and vegetable products.
