Biography:
Hedayat-Allah Salem is an Emeritus Professor of Plant Protection (Entomology), at the National Center for Radiation Research and Technology, Egyptian Atomic Energy Authority (NCRRT, EAEA) since 1997. She received her Ph.D. from Faculty of Agriculture & Applied Biological Sciences, Gent Univ., Belgium (Pests & Plant Protection Dept. “Entomology”), in 1984. Since 1985 till now, she has worked at NCRRT, EAEA. From 1985 to 2000, she has got numerous fellowships at Faculty of Agriculture & Applied Biological Sciences, Gent Univ., Belgium. From 2003 to 2012, she has been promoted to a number of leading positions. She has participated in many National and International Training courses and Conferences. She has supervised a number of master and Ph.D. theses and has reviewed 8 theses. She has published 40 research articles in international scientific journals. She is the Editor in chief of the Journal of Radiation Researches and Applied Sciences (JRRAS) and the founder and the Editor in chief of Journal of Nuclear Technology in Applied Sciences (JNTAS) since 2013. She organized 8 International Conferences run by ESRSA.
