Biography:
She is a dedicated scholar and professional in agriculture, biotechnology, and artificial intelligence. She graduated with a Master’s in Global Agriculture Technology and Genomic Science from the National Taiwan University (NTU) under the NTU-SEARCA scholarship. Carla’s research focuses on leveraging machine learning and digital agriculture technologies to address pressing global food security and sustainability issues with hands-on experience in bioinformatics, computer vision, and deep learning. Carla is working again as a project development officer at the Department of Agriculture in the Philippines, where she helped develop strategies for sustainable food production in urban areas.
