Biography:
Dr. Calvince Ouko Othoo is an Environment and Climate change scientist with passion in climate resilience building and vulnerability analysis. Othoo is presently a postdoc fellow at the University of Nairobi and a recent visiting research scientist at the European Commission Joint Research Centre in Ispra, Italy. Calvince has vast experience in teaching, research, consultancy, and mentorship. Calvince’s skills include participatory climate risk assessment, soil and water management, GIS, among others. He is proud to be a Commonwealth Scholar and a One-Planet Climate Fellow 2021-2024. On a personal level, Calvince is amiable and loves networking and making diverse connections.
