Aneta Loj

Biography:

Aneta Loj obtained the Master's Degree in Economics at the Gdansk University in Poland, her professional career took her to various countries in Europe and Asia, and she lived in Hong Kong, Japan, China, and India. She is the Director of the Brahma Kumaris in Poland since 2013. Her genuine interest in spirituality and benevolence led to her involvement in projects that benefit communities through sustainable development and capacity building. Since 2011, she has been Research and Development Coordinator at “India One” Solar Thermal Power Plant. She managed activities of the Awareness Cum Training Center on Concentrated Solar Thermal Technologies under the program of UNDP - GEF - MNRE, Government of India. She is a member of the BK Environment Initiative and has represented the Brahma Kumaris is a number of UN Conferences on Climate Change (UNFCCC), Combating Desertification (UNCCD), Biological Diversity (CBD), and Ocean (UNOC). She is the Focal Point of the Brahma Kumaris at the UNCCD.
