Title : Patent development : An issues in the Agricultural, Marketing and Production in Nigeria
Abstract:
Nigerian Smallholder farmers, continue to struggle to grown enough food to feed, and care for their families. One reason for this is that the smallholder farming systems are hardly ever provided, with reliable access to high quality seeds and planting materials, in spite of the demonstrated contribution of these critical inputs to increasing agricultural productivity. The concern of the farmers are numerous in respect too production, cultivation practices, but the most aspect in which the Nigeria farmers are not considering is the issues of having patent from their Agricultural Produce, Machineries and industrials making of orange juices and this paper try to examine what are the reasons, while they are not interested and the solutions and areas that the patent are needed to promote Agricultural business in the country. From the study conducted, it was seeing that the agricultural produce can be patented such as the sweet oranges production, that is located in Benue State of Nigeria and some can be find in other part of the country and in the west we have sweet, small and flesh ones. Also from the fields studies we seen that there are a lot of sugar innovation marketing strategies involving, the various oral interview from the field survey shows that most farmers s have not hear about patent in the agricultural sector and this paper therefore suggest that information should be disseminated too the practicing farmers to see the important of patent in the agricultural sectors, given the value for, it’s in the Internationally countries. Some farmers also fabricates, innovates, some Rabbit, Fishing Marketing equipment strategies, for production, marketing, sales and the design needed too being patented to promote sales and Agricultural development .
